Booking procedures and cancellation policy
All bookings for Letsatsi Safari & Lodge should be made in writing by fax or e-mail.
Telephone bookings should be followed up immediately with a written confirmation.
All bookings are held on a provisional basis until the required deposit has been received.
Deposit should be received by us within 7 days of making the reservation, failing which we reserve the right to allocate space and time to other definite bookings.
25% non-refundable deposit required immediately.
Balance of payments should be received by us not later than 6 months prior to arrival date.
All cancellations should be given in writing by fax or e-mail once the required deposit has been received by us.
The following scale of cancellation penalties will apply (for cancellation received):
- 6 months or more advanced: 25% of total cost - within 4 months of arrival: 50% of total cost - within 3 months of arrival: 65% of total cost - within 2 months of arrival: no refund!
It is a pre-requisite of booking that clients have adequate travel insurance to cover these cancellation penalties as the cancellation policy will be strictly adhere to.
Summer runs from December to March with high temperatures - on average 30c to 35c with lows around 18c and rain, particularly between December and March.
Winter runs from June to August with daytime temperature around 23c, with night time lows averaging 5c.
Allowed baggage for guests is about 25 - 30 kg, only in case of flying you need smaller luaggage. When you pack, please, don't put items like cash, jewellery, camera, laptop computer, electronic devices or medicines in baggage that will be checked in. You should take valuables and special items on board personally in your carry bag. As is the case with other airlines, Air Botswana will not be liable for the loss of such items from checked-in baggage.

Airlines will not be held accountable for the loss of such iterms from checked in baggage, same applies to air Botswana.

The baboons ate medication for a patient who had heart condition and ate all their food and teared their tents.
